Well this week we were supposed to be at Pontins but we only lasted one night but thats a whole other story.
So i thought I would show you the card I made recently.
As you may have noticed, I like to use stars on the masculine cards but I also like to use butterflies on the feminine cards.
I used the daisy Cuttlebug embossing folder on the card....

Today I wanted to show you the noticeboard that I have made.
This started out as a Ribba frame from ikea. I then took an old noticeboard and cut the cork to fit the frame.
I took out the glass, left the insert in the front and place the cork behind it. Then I just fitted the backboard back on and voila, a jazzed up noticeboard.

I don't know whether this is common knowledge but I thought I would put it on here anyway.
My tip for cleaning acrylic blocks that have ink that won't come off it like staz on is to wipe the block with a hand sanitizer. I've tried this with staz on ink and the ink thats still on the block just wipes straight off.

This is a card that I started a few months ago and I got as far as putting the three background layers on the card and the yellow ribbon but couldn't decide what else to put on it. I came back to it last week and thought that I had to do something with it as it was quite pretty but obviously missing something- even more colour!

The first card says thinking of you. I used a pre-made card which already had the pattern on it and added three 2" scallop circles with 3 1" butterflies on them and underneath the ribbon, I used the threading water punch. I also inked the edge of the butterflies and the card itself in brown ink. There is probably too many butterflies but never mind.
