We love to go and visit the libraries in our town and not just the local library, as they have so many toys for the girls to play with as well as books. It's so easy to spend an hour or two playing, drawing and reading and it's great when they have an activity on for the girls to do too!

If Hollie disappears in the house, she can be found in our bed watching YouTube kids on her tablet and then Amelia will follow her and sit on top of her to watch as well!

The girls enjoyed the soft play this week but it was at full capacity, being half term, so was a little crazy!

It's been a busy months of birthdays for us with Amelia's on the 25th January, Hollie and my husband's on the 11th February and then mine is on the 28th February!
The girls have both enjoyed opening their presents and celebrating their birthdays.
One thing we have all been craving this month is being able to escape to the park. We managed to get their once recently and even though the playground was quite muddy, the girls enjoyed seeing the birds and just walking through the park.
The girls are still getting on well and Hollie is managing to let Amelia play with her, doing things like Lego and play-doh, that before she would get annoyed if Amelia wanted to play too. I am pleased that Hollie has been more accepting towards her sister, makes life a little more peaceful!

This week Amelia has struggled taking naps and would cry for a long time and then would rather sleep on the floor than in her bed.
It's hard to get her to nap when we have to do the school run too and it tends to be that when she is finally settling down to sleep, we have to go and get her sister from school.
We will see how she naps over half term!

Amelia has really gotten into Peppa Pig recently as has enjoyed playing with Hollie's old Peppa Pig toys. She loves to set them out on the bed and move them from chair to chair.
She gets annoyed with the fact that the bed isn't flat and they all fall over and so picks up all the characters and wraps them all up in her top so she can look after them I think!
It's so nice to see how she is picking up new words and sentences and how she uses them when she is playing too!

Amelia turned 2 last Monday and I explained a bit about it here.
Today I thought I would show some photos of how Amelia has changed over the past year.
Her hair is quite long now and she still has her cheeky little smile but she looks so much more grown up in the last couple of photos than the first few. People do think she is older than she is and when they are told her age, they are really surprised, think it's to do with the hair as she had a lot at birth!
