This week Amelia has struggled taking naps and would cry for a long time and then would rather sleep on the floor than in her bed.
It's hard to get her to nap when we have to do the school run too and it tends to be that when she is finally settling down to sleep, we have to go and get her sister from school.
We will see how she naps over half term!

Oh bless her heart, look at that photo. I have had a fair few friends who have said it is really hard getting their little one to nap now that the big ones are at school, as they either just have to abandon it altogether or get them up earlier than they would need to. I am really lucky that at the moment my husband works from home so I can leave my littlest in bed while I go to get my big girl from school- but I know I would be stressing if I had to wake her up! xx
ReplyDeleteWe are struggling with this too..... having a nap can sometimes result in not going to sleep for an hour and falling asleep on the floor, but having no nap at all ends with a very grumpy toddler! Just a tricky stage I think! x
ReplyDeleteWe had battles with nap time recently, now though I think L is phasing them out altogether. It is always the way though, they just fall asleep and then you have to wake them.
