We recently went to a wedding of a friend and so I made a card, which as usual involved a cake!

 The wedding was in a beautiful hotel with some lovely scenery, set at the end of a long country road.

It was quite a posh wedding in the sense that it was cocktail wear. So there was all the other ladies in their lovely dresses, looking stunning and there was me in my trousers. Ha. You were not going to get me in dress in a hurry!

Anyway, this is the card that I made:



The patterned paper is from Basic Grey and the stamp and brad is from American Crafts and I decided to do a bit of hand stitching around the outside to add more dimension.

I decided that as a lot of the items in my shop were sadly nearly at the point of being delisted,some already had, that I would have a little sale in my Folksy Shop.

I haven't really promoted it anywhere as enough as I should have but anyway, that's the past.

4. I had to have my gall bladder removed 8 weeks after giving birth because I was in severe pain, throughout my pregnancy, with it.

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary.

We got married in Malta in a beautiful palace, which had a really pretty garden, with 16 of our family. It was really special. We had great weather and  a great planner. It was definitely the right way to get married for us. so much less stressful than having it at home.

Here is the card I made for my husband.


For the card I used the Basic Grey Max and Whiskers papers and the Making Memories Just Chillin - boy papers.

The stamp is from Hero Arts and the button is from American Crafts.

Well Sunday was mother's day here in the UK and I thought I would show you the card that I made for my mum.



Sorry about the picture, I had to take it quickly one night so it's not very good quality.

I have the Cosmo Cricket De Lovely paper collection and I realised that I hadn't really used it so I thought I would use it on this card and the stamp is from Paula Pascual.

We bought my mum some flowers and my husband bought my mum and I a cake for mother's day which was quickly eaten with a nice cup of tea.
