Happy Cupcake Day Card.

So this week is half term at nursery and so far Hollie hasn't mentioned nursery but as she has only been there for 3 weeks, she doesn't really grasp yet when she goes.
OK, the card today I made using a cupcakes sticker from American Crafts Remarks fruit accent stickers.
The patterned paper is from Basic Grey Lemonade collection and the stamps are 3 different ones.
Top stamp - Hero Arts Live It Up
Middle stamp - Papermania Summer Bloom
Bottom stamp - Banana Frog Teeny Tiny Alphabet set.
The label was made using the Nestabilities Label Four.
A birthday card for Scott.

Two weeks ago my daughter finally started nursery. It may only be for 3 hours in the afternoon but it was definitely something she needed and was looking forward to. So I get a bit of time to myself and she gets a bit of time to play with other children.
So in the last post I showed what I had made for my niece, well today I'm going to show you the card I made for her brother, my nephew.
I decided that instead of using a stamp I would use letter stickers. The paper is from American Crafts Tea Party paper, The border punch is upper crest from Fiskars and I used the stars Cuttlebug embossing folder.
On another note, I just wanted to say that I jumped on the bandwagon over a month ago and got a pinterest account so if anyone wants to have look, here is the link to my Pinterest.
Happy Birthday Sophie.

Thursday was my niece's birthday. She has had a very stressful 6 weeks as she is training to be a hairdresser and has had to commute to London every weekday to do her training course for Toni and Guy.
The course finished yesterday so I'm sure she is glad that's over.
This is the card that I made her:
The paper is from American Craft and Making Memories. The stamp is from Clare Curd and the butterflies and scallop circle are from Martha Stewart punches. The label is from the Nestabilities label four.
I decided to make her some presents as well. I didn't just want to give her cards so I decided to make a hair accessory.
I also decided to make her an altered notebook. I changed the front of the notebook so that it had kraft card on the front and the added some paper and ribbon. I wanted to do some stitching but somehow managed to loose my sewing machine foot!
This is how I decided to wrap up the present. I used kraft wrapping paper and stamped a butterfly from American Crafts and created a tag out of kraft card and made a pin wheel from Making Memories paper to add to the front. I then attached the tag using green bakers twine and Japanese masking tape.
Hope you all have a good weekend.
