Mojo Monday sketch 278 - Wishing you a lovely day card

Saturday, February 02, 2013

I have found it quite hard to get back into card making after Christmas and would keep putting off making any cards and crafts.

So when I find myself feeling like this, I try to find a card sketch that will give me some inspiration to start making a card.

This time I chose sketch 278 from Mojo Monday.

Love love love the sketches from Mojo Monday as they are so easy to inspire and interpret to your own.

For this card, I used an image which was on one of the patterned paper from The American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line.

The scallop circle is actually supposed to be a lacey circle but I obviously needed to add more pressure and so added up being plain which worked out perfect.

The little butterfly is the small die from the Clearly Besotted butterfly die set and I love it. So cute.

Paper - American Craft Dear Lizzy Neapolitan | Card - American Craft | Stamp - Forever Friends Black and Gold | Ribbon - Hobbycraft | Border punch - X cut | Scallop Circle - Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey circles | Butterfly - Clearly Besotted butterfly die | Gems - Dovecraft | Glitter - Stickles star dust.

Hollies birthday is in just over a week so I am off to wrap the presents I have bought so far.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

See you soon.
