WOYWW 182

Yesterday I had to have more root canal treatment on one of my teeth. I started the treatment 2 weeks ago but the nerve was double the length the dentist thought so it is going to take much longer to sort out.

So for this reason, I haven't been posting much and finding it little hard to concentrate on crafting as the pain can be quite bad at times. Hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Anyway this is what my desk looks like at the moment as I have said, it is a bit hard to concentrate on making things but managed to put together the red paper star that I bought from Wilkinsons, finish my Christmas cards and started to think of some Christmas cards for Hollies teachers.

I also bought some of the 14p wrapping paper from Tesco to make some little pretend Christmas presents to put under my little tree but Hollie can't understand why I am making pretend presents as she says she wants real ones! I have tried to explain they're not for her though.

I have enjoyed making the paper stars that are hanging at the top of the picture. They were from a template on this blog. It is in dutch so will need translating.

Hope to be able to show some more of the things I have been making soon.

Tee hee - the pretend presents took me back to my childhood, when my Mum wrapped up epmty cereal boxes, toothpaste boxes, cake boxes etc to cover up the ugly stand of our artifical tree! Plus, once the real presents are opened and it's a week or so till the decorations come down, the tree looks so forlorn, doesn't it?! Have a good week, best wishes Deb # 135 xxx

Hi there sorry to hear about your tooth problem I have a horror of problems with my teeth. Love the red star, also the little stars will have a look at those. Wow, the big red star is gorgeous! Root canal dentistry is about the worst dental stuff you can have, I reckon. Hope it's all finished soon.
